    A good book is a definite treat in the middle of the long winter months. One of my favorite ways to combat the winter blues is to have a ready stack of books to be read in my favorite spot with a blanket, lit candle, and hot drink.     We just returned from a family trip down to Lake Keowee in South Carolina. After such a challenging year of work and school, it was the perfect getaway to kick off summer break for the kids and spend lots of time in the water & sunshine!
